Update Mysql 5.0 a 5.1

Para actualizar Mysql -server de version 5.0 a 5.1.26 tuve que realizar los siguientes pasos, cabe precisar que se elimino el mysql y se volvio a instalar en otra version superior:

1. Bajar los rpm del sitio de Mysql Download
2. Parar el Mysql
3. correr lo siguiente para determinar que paquetes se estan usando
rpm -qa grep -i '^mysql-'
4. eliminar los paquetes con #rpm -e --nodeps $(rpm -qv mysql) y con rpm -e --nodeps --noscripts mysql-libs-5.0.45-6.fc7.
5. Se ejecuto el comando # "rpm -ihv --nodeps --replacefiles -ev MySQL-server-community-5.1.26-0.rhel4.i386.rpm" y se deben instalar el client y el shared.
